Ingredients
For the salmon:
1 salmon fillet
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter (divided)
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions
Marinate the Salmon:
Squeeze half a lemon over the salmon fillet and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 5-10 minutes.
Fry the Salmon:
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add the salmon, flesh-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, mixing well. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Add the Salmon Back to the Pan:
Place the cooked salmon back into the sauce and spoon the sauce over it to keep it moist. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Finish with Coriander:
Sprinkle the chopped coriander over the salmon. Cover the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
