Ingredients

For the salmon:

  • 1 salmon fillet

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Salmon:

    • Squeeze half a lemon over the salmon fillet and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 5-10 minutes.

  2. Fry the Salmon:

    • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.

    • Add the salmon, flesh-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Creamy Sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, mixing well. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

  4. Add the Salmon Back to the Pan:

    • Place the cooked salmon back into the sauce and spoon the sauce over it to keep it moist. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

  5. Finish with Coriander:

    • Sprinkle the chopped coriander over the salmon. Cover the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. Serve:

    • Your single-serve Garlic Lemon Butter Salmon is ready! Pair it with your favorite side, such as steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice, for a satisfying meal.
